Edit - Reaching out to the company to see if they will support a repair. Will update the review pending that outcome.
I inherited a house with a product from this company. The blinds were for a wide front window, with three sets of blinds set on one hanger. The two outer were half the width of the inner. These are plantation style blinds.
They look great.
The problem is that in the mechanical part at the top there are at least 3-4 different places where the cords rub on sharp metal. The original cords wore out quickly, and when I tried to re-thread them, the same thing happened. I re-threaded a third time with stronger and more durable cord. Again, the same thing happened.
This also made the blinds difficult to raise and lower since the cords were constantly getting stuck on metal. I am not sure if this blind company is just reselling other blinds or building their own, but regardless, they should be either selecting better product to sell or manufacturing better product.
Considering that the cord moving is a crucial part of blinds, I would expect that a blind company or blind producer could design a product with long life.
